It's important to clean and maintain your RV, but you can't do so without the right products. Using the wrong products can result in less effective camper upkeep or even expensive damage! We've created the following guide to help you know which RV cleaning and maintenance products to get and which to pass on.

RV Wash

Soap is required to clean your RV, but not just any old product will do. Make sure it's gentle enough to avoid damaging the camper's exterior while still getting rid of the grime. Your RV owner's manual may provide specific cleaning product suggestions. Otherwise, you can use a dedicated RV soap.

Wax

Waxing a camper is...an endeavor. But it's a key step in protecting the exterior from wear and tear. Get a quality wax that you can apply with ease.

Silicone Sealant

It's common for holes and tears to creep up in a camper. Left unaddressed, they can turn into expensive issues. A silicone sealant allows you to easily fill the holes and avoid a service department bill.

Slide-Out Lubricant

If your camper contains a slide-out, get a lubricant product. This will help when the slide-out starts sticking or otherwise becoming bothersome.

Tire Pressure Gauge

This is an essential RV maintenance product. Camper tires need to be inflated to the proper levels. Otherwise, they can compromise fuel efficiency, face quicker wear and tear, and even have a higher chance of a dangerous blowout.

With a tire pressure gauge, you can quickly measure the air pressure and then adjust accordingly.

Concrobium

This handy RV product is designed to tackle mold and mildew stains. Just remember that mold continuing to appear is usually a sign of an issue, such as a leak.

Toilet Deodorizer

It's easy for unpleasant smells to build up in the bathroom. This cleaning product helps break up things that are clogging up the black water tank and contributing to bad odors. Toilet deodorizer contains harsh chemicals, however, so you will only want to use this when necessary.

Replacement Light Bulbs

Light bulbs will burn out over time - and often in the middle of a vacation! Keep some replacement light bulbs on hand so you won't have to spend part of your vacation traveling to the nearest grocery store for bulbs.
