We purchased our RV from Matt Horniman back in 2015 and he has been our contact up until July 22,2023 when he sold it for us so we have dealt with Matt on both sides of the deal. He is the most knowledgeable person on RVs I have ever met. Also very personable and just great to deal with. Always promptly returns phone calls which is hard to find anymore. We recently received a few Recalls on our Fleetwood Southwind that needed to be taken care of.
Along with some warranty work, we also had a few other needed repairs. We are from Cape Cod MA and recently sold our home and are living fulltime in our Class A while building a new house. Because our RV is our home, we were posed with a whole set of concerns that worried us because we could not just drop it off and pick it up at a later date. Remembering the pleasant experience, we had when we purchased our RV from Carolina Coach the previous year, we decided to call them. After talking to Jessica in Service and feeling so welcomed about returning, we decided to drive down to NC from MA. We found this dealership to be extremely accommodating and sensitive to our situation. After Jessica received our list of items that needed to be repaired, she promptly responded and set up an appointment for us. She was so professional and efficient that any concerns we had were quickly gone. Her superb organizational skills made the entire process over the next three days flow effortlessly. We had our coach back every day by closing so we could spend the night in the parking lot. We had electric, water and a pump out available. Our service technician Doug was wonderful, and he checked in with us daily to answer any questions and explain what he had done that day.
This is our fourth RV and we have been to many other dealerships, but Carolina Coach in Claremont is by far one of the best we have ever been to. We are so happy we decided to make the trip and we plan to return for any other service we may need in the future and any further RV purchases. We cannot say enough nice things about Jessica and Doug, and Carolina Coach is very fortunate to have them as employees. We would be remiss if we did not also mention that so many others stopped and said hello while we waited and welcomed us. Unfortunately, we cannot remember everyone's name who went out of their way to help us when it came time to park in the evenings. We had an issue and lost power to our camper. When we arrived at the dealership we found out the parts department had already closed for the day. The gentleman at the store contacted the parts department manager via text. She told him what we needed and told him where to find it in the parts department. We were able to purchase the parts we needed and therefore got our power back on. This store went above and beyond to help us. I would highly recommend this store for all your camping needs.

Many people make comment on getting new RV's and even purchasing used ones or boats. Those are wonderful things to have people comment on, however, what about after the sale....... I am from the Seattle area, was on the road back east here visiting family with a brand new coach I bought back in the Seattle area. So here I am 3,000 and more miles from home, my slide motor stops working and I can not find anyplace within more than 150 miles that can even take a look to see what is happening. Two separate locations of camping world turned me away. I found this place only by driving and deciding to take a shot when I saw the billboard. I came in here and was treated like I had just purchased the coach from this dealership. They said they were booked but would at least take a look and see what was happening. That was the start of one of the best service experiences I have had in my 13 years of over the road RV travel. They diagnosed, verified parts available and got the factory to authorize in no time at all. Then it was late in the day, they scheduled me for first thing the following open business day. I had a great weekend with very dear friends, then returned and true to their word, they pulled it right in first thing in th morning. This is what the RV world always was like all the years I have been traveling. When I am in this neck of the woods again, as I am often, I look forward to scheduling my regular maintenance while I am in the area at this facility without any questions. Being a disabled Vet, traveling with service dogs can be trying at best. I would also mention, the prices, scheduling and overall way of treating people, hands down over any place larger or a chain that has long since forgotten what camping is all about. this place did not gain my favor by special treatment, simply providing the same great service I am quite sure they offer everyone. Sitting here watching all morning, I have seen some great interactions and working with the staff, mechanics, sales, parts and the overall atmosphere is very pleasant. Being outside with all 4 of the dogs, they came out a bit ago and made sure I had plenty of water for the pups and if I needed anything. I am outside up on a hill at an employee picnic area.
